For the last number of years, the working group have been tracking the deployment of SCO outside of grocery, in formats such as fashion, drug, home improvement, discount, convenience, electrical and automotive parts.

These annual meetings consistently serve up new, invaluable insights, for example, last year, several of the non-grocery retailers, noting the lessons from grocery on the importance of design, have created and trialled SCO spaces that are easier to use, monitor and control, with good results, that could potentially be reapplied to grocery.

In this meeting, expect to hear about the latest updates from retailers in the group on their trials, lessons learnt and pathways to the future, which in some cases have been to stop the trials.
