Description

Theft on the Road - Retailer Best Practices

In this meeting we will explore the latest measures retailers are taking to measure, monitor, detect, prevent and manage the losses in transit between their distribution centres, regional hubs and stores.

The meeting will start with a case study retailer presentation, who will share how they have taken extreme measures to "target harden" their trucks with highly secure locks to prevent break ins, that has reduced their losses on high value tobacco by 99% in 2025 Vs 2023.

They will then share how they continue to fight against the losses of other high value products that cannot be not shipped in the same high secure trucks, often with multi-store drops, and include an update on their trials with pallet / trolley smart recognition systems.

The group will then discuss the case study retailer presentation and share back their own initiatives targeted to reduce losses in the journey to the store.

This meeting is for retailers, CPG's and academics only.
