As a manufacturing engineer interested in reverse supply chains, sustainability and the circular economy, I enjoy working with ECR Retail Loss because I get to contribute to solving real-world problems. The interaction with retailers and manufacturers "ground" us as academics, and provide direct impact for our research. The work on the sustainability of product returns is particularly relevant as it is a big and increasing problem for most retailers, affecting the economy, society and the environment
