I am interested in modelling and solving relevant inventory-forecasting problems. ECR has allowed me access to the retailing community and, with that, I have gained a better understanding of the interesting problems facing the retailing sector, such as the issue of inventory record inaccuracies. It also gave me access to important data related to investigating and solving these problems. So being part of the ECR group not only informs my research but also increases the impact of such research as it is used to directly influence current practices. It has been a pleasure being part of the ECR Retail Loss Group and I look forward to continuing our work with the group in the years to come.
