In our 2023 meeting, we learnt that 4% of all PLU transactions were mislabelled and that with product recognition technology, that can scan to an accuracy rate of 97-99%, can virtually eliminate these "mistakes" saving financial losses but more importantly, can help remove friction and speed up the shopper transactions.

In this meeting we will hear from retailers who have been looking at new ways to reduce the risk of loss through the PLU. This will include innovations in pricing, in UX design, in layout and further implementations of product recognition technologies, and integration into the SCO systems.
