Description
The goal of all retailers is to ensure that surplus food remains in the human consumption chain, one response to this goal is to increase demand for close to expiry date products beyond just a simple markdown. In this session, we head from Giant, Sandpiper CI, and Lidl, and their learnings to date on the Flashfood, Gander and Too Good to Go apps, and how they have helped to keep surplus food in the human chain and acquire new shoppers.
